Neustift im Stubaital is a municipality in the district Innsbruck-Land and is located 25 km south of Innsbruck deep down in the Stubaital. It has an incredible area size of 249 km² and is the 3rd biggest municipality of Tyrol.
Neustift was mentioned in documents in the 14th century for the first time. Nowadays the location is one of the most important tourism centres of Austria.
